I promised mom a quick peek before we head off to the workshop, so I grabbed my favorite of their littlest love.
What a lucky little boy to be born into this family. Knowing this family personally I can say that. In fact, my son and the oldest boys swear they are “brothers for a thousand years”.

48 hours til the retreat…… counting down!
Finally it is vacation time here at Munchkins and Mohawks!
A full week of R&R before the big weekend photography retreat, Storybook Forest.
So for the next week we will be mostly unavailable, but back at it full force Next Tuesday September 20th.
We are so excited for the retreat…can you tell??
I received the email while out and about with my kiddos last week. I glanced at it and thought..how nice, a finalist.
When I got back to the office I opened the email again really reading it- hardly believing own eyes. You fellow photographers can understand me here when I say that PPA, Professional Photographers of America, is the standard in recognizing excellence in our industry. So to receive and email from Professional Photographer Magazine , PPA’s publication, stating that my image had been chosen as a finalist from nearly 60,000 other applicant was truly unbelievable!
Now the competition is stiff- I mean really the best of the best are up for nomination. The finalists span across all genres of photography and many have cover after cover of national publications! To be among their likes is so humbling.
I will be watching my email carefully in the upcoming weeks hoping and praying that my beautiful client is chosen to grace it’s cover.
I think she would look amazing……..don’t you?!
And now I am soaking in this accomplishment and taking it in as a blessing and honor.
