There have been a lot of changes in the last few months at Munchkins and Mohawks.

We have some new and exciting things to announce!

First, I have decided to add a business partner to Munchkins and Mohawks.  Some of you may already know the name or face.  She is a fellow photographer and my personal friend- Gina Wade.

She is spunky, fun and organized.  She is the ying to my yang.  We work really well together and I can only imagine how much Munchins and Mohawks will gain from having her on board.  She has already jumped in with both feet, so you can expect to see emails and information from her going forward.  I will still be the creative force behind Munchkins and Mohawks.  Gina is going to focus on coordination, logistics and the general business side for us.  I’m super excited that she shares my enthusiasm and passion for photography.  I know you will fall in love with her,

just like I did (plus she always has good snacks!) 

Our second big announcement births from the great response I have had to private mentoring.

With limited time and unlimited ideas I have decided to put myself into this full force and go all out with a boutique experience photographer’s workshop.  I will still be taking a limited number of portrait sessions, but I will no longer be offering individual mentoring sessions.  I have found a way to let my creative juices flow …a place where 10 hours of prep work per session makes sense….where photographers have the opportunity to stretch their creative muscles. Our boutique experience workshop will be a 2-3 day all inclusive, on-site, full disclosure workshop.  We will work to “find the light”,  client styling suggestions, creating compositions that go beyond standard portraits, as well as the technical aspect such as lens choices, getting great clarity, etc.  It will include individual portfolio review, 2-3 live shoots, on the spot critique, post processing and more.  We are in the final stages of determining the times and location of the workshop.  Stay tuned for more information next week.
