What a treat. I really have to pinch myself sometimes……my job is so amazing. This little girl was such a sweet soul- a beautiful way to spend my morning. We rolled around on the floor- sneezed things off our heads- and even caught snowflakes. I have enjoyed watching this little beauty grow….http://munchkinsandmohawksphotography.com/blog/2009/12/mia-north-allegheny-newborn-photographer/ you can see her little bitty self here at her newborn session. This time I think we got along famously. I hope mom loves her sneak peek..she put so much into the session—all the clothes and accessories. She really did an amazing job!
Bask in the beauty of this little birthday girl!
look at those lashes!
Sometimes I am inspired and then there are other times where I am really inspired. This was was on those shoots where I totally had a vision- I couldn’t sleep the night before because I was dreaming about it ; – ) The thing was ……the sun did not have the same plans as I did. So, just as quickly as the beautiful golden light came in it left us! BOOO. We did manage to get a few frames in before we were in total darkness. These gorgeous children belong to one of my good friends so we will be sure that session will happen again- It has too! Enjoy…….
Sorry for the slacking on blogging….. the holiday rush has me busy busy. I shot this little guy a few weeks back for an awesome session with an up and coming photographer. We had a blast with him…….. he really could not have been a more perfect model. As cute as a button- sleepy- and just two days old!!!!!! I am pretty sure he is my youngest yet- Oh how I love newborns. Thanks to mom for joining us for his first photo session- you really have a little model on your hands ; – )
Oh I love how you can see all his little peach fuzz.
I have been so busy over the last year that I rarely have time to shoot images of my sweet babies. They are, after all, why I began doing this. So with a little coaxing to slow things down- my husband and I took an evening to take our children out for some sweet, sun drenched portraits. Now my dreams of many scene set ups and clothing changes didn’t happen, but what we did get in our fifteen minute window of beautiful light was perfection. This year I was less worried about making my kids pose and smile- then getting mad when they don’t…yikes- and more about enjoying our time together. So with lollipop stained faces and dirt covered jeans I present to you my perfect works of art………my children!
Let the holidays begin!
*sigh*
