So lately, we have been quite the animal lovers here at Munchkins and Mohawks… From zebras to baby chicks and even zebu (google that one) Not only do the kids love them but they really do help them to open up and come out of their shell in front of the camera.

There is nothing better than spending some quality time with the family.  These small moments seem to turn into memories before we even realize.  It’s so important to be there, present in the moment, with the ones you love and care about.  On a lighter note…..

Here I go deep thinking again…..my career has become such a source of joy in my life. There were a few years where I diverted to more commercial work and teaching, but though searching my heart I have come back to creating mostly for families. It’s funny…when I first started out in photography, I was terrified of shooting a family session. So many people, where to focus, how to control your session..it was all so overwhelming. As I continued to develop my craft and understand what makes me tick, I lost that anxiety and embraced the chaos and relished in the connection I could capture. Today, I love nothing more that creating family art. It is my passion and love.
