{the season begins} | Pittsburgh Children’s Photographer

I do apologize for the long hiatus…..our house has been riddles with sickness over the last few weeks. I have been battling the ever “popular” H1N1 for nearly a week myself. As I write you know I am in between bouts of fever and extreme fatigue. Alright, alright – enough about this fun stuff!!!

Right about the start of the flu epidemic at our home we had a chance to spend some great quality time and prepare the house for the Christmas season.

Landon just loves his “best friend ” dad

That is one proud boy : – )

And Arden was just in amazement of her big brother’s creation….notice the lovely freakishly pale complexion on my baby not to mention the sanitizer and box of tissues within an arms reach– haha

And the final gingerbread village a’ la Landon .

So back to the couch I go praying to get better —QUICK!!!!

Thanks for all of the well wishes and prayers!!!

  1. Wow! These images really put me in the holiday spirit! Your decorations are beautiful and I love the creativity with the gingerbread village. Hope you feel better soon!

  2. Awww this makes me want to decorate right now! Alas it will have to wait a couple of days – kudos to you for capturing this fun time to perfection!

  3. Ok, so this puts my holiday spirit to shame! LOL…makes me want to run out and grab the stuff to do a gingerbread house! AWESOME lighting and shots though….just beautiful!

  4. I absolutely adore all these yummy treats! That last picture is AWESOME!!! The bokeh & goodies! We made the ‘star’ christmas tree one year. I used sugar cookies and added an entire bottle of green food coloring to make them look like trees. It was so much fun! We even gave them for gifts for everyone, I love that you put a little star on the top as well! Was it a cookie too? That is just so neat. I also have to say I completely adore your business name that is just SOOO freakin sweet! Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous! I love the vibrant colors =o)
